Maungwe Investments Pvt Ltd is a private company wholly owned by Makoni Rural District Council. We exist to drive sustainable, locally anchored business growth that creates value for its shareholders and communities while protecting and strengthening the natural environment enabling local economic development.
Maungwe Investments (Private) Limited is in partnership with the Sustainable Afforestation Association (SAA) in the sustainable management of Eucalyptus plantations. In the partnership, Maungwe Investments leases its land to SAA for them to grow and professionally manage the Eucalyptus plantations. When the plantations have matured, they will be harvested as firewood for tobacco curing.
- The entity majors in pole production ranging from droppers of 25mm to 125mm transmission poles.
- We sell nursery of Eucalyptus seedling , fruit trees and ornamental trees .
- Maungwe Investments sales firewood per standard cord (2.4m long x 1.2m height x 1.2m width) to tobacco famers .By providing firewood to tobacco farmers, it’s not only for profit making but also environmentally friendly source of fuelwood.
Maungwe Investments has a capacity to produce an average or 300m3 per month sustainably and also the capacity of raising eucalyptus seedlings upto 500 000 (Five hundred thousand)
At our core, we drive sustainable growth through agroforestry, managing the entire lifecycle of high-quality Eucalyptus poles—from nurturing seedlings in our nurseries to delivering premium treated and untreated poles.

Brick Molding: Supplying durable, high-quality cement bricks to power infrastructure and construction across Headlands and neighboring communities.
Mining: Developing rich, responsibly managed mineral claims in Manicaland to fuel national and regional economic progress.
